  1. Jul. 02 – A band of militants clashed with a Tunisian army unit during a gun battle in the Zarzoura area of the Kef governorate. No one was hurt in the incident. [Jaw & Mos]
  2. Jul. 22 – A soldier was killed in a landmine blast during operations by the Tunisian army on Mount Semmama, in the Kasserine governorate. [Jaw & Mos]
  3. Jul. 27 – One soldier sustained injuries in a shootout between militants and Tunisian troops in Oued Mliz, in the Jendouba governorate. Two terrorists were eliminated in the encounter. [Jaw & Mos]

  8. Aug. 29 – Militants detonated a roadside bomb as a military vehicle passed by on Mount Semmama, in the Kasserine governorate. The stricken vehicle was subsequently hit by rocket-propelled grenades and raked with gunfire by the assailants. Three soldiers were killed and seven colleagues were wounded in the incident.
