Mar. 07 – A band of approximately fifty DaISN militants simultaneously attacked army and police barracks in the city of Ben Guerdane, in the Médenine governorate, sparking a round of heavy gun battles with security forces in which six paramilitary troops, two policemen, one soldier and a customs agent were killed. A local leader of the nationalist NT party and seven civilians, including the parents of a paramilitary soldier, also died during the attacks.
