  1. Jul. 04 – Militants captured a driver and a companion when they hijacked their van near Sakièt Sidi Youssef, in the Kef governorate. The assailants subsequently plundered a grocery store. The hostages were released later that day. [Jaw & Mos]
  2. Jul. 18 – Assailants stabbed and injured five worshippers as they left a mosque in the village of Nasrallah, in the Kairouan governorate. [Mos]

  11. Aug. 30 – An imam was shot to death by militants as he was grazing his flock of sheep in Zaouiet Ben Ammar, in the Kasserine governorate. The victim had led the funeral service of a customs agent killed by militants a few days earlier. [Jaw & Mos]
