  1. Jan. 01 – Cadres of the AST battled with Tunisian security forces during a round of firefights in the city of Sidi Bouzid. No one was hurt in the incident. [AP]
  2. Jan. 05 – Thugs set fire a police station and a local government office during demonstrations in Guetar, in the Gafsa governorate. [Mos]
  3. Jan. 05 – Unidentified assailants set fire to the house of a judge in the Thrayat area of the Sousse governorate. No one was hurt in the attack. [Mos]
  4. Jan. 07 – A Sufi Muslim mausoleum was set on fire by a group of unidentified attackers in Ouled Aziza, in the Kasserine governorate. [Mos]

  12. Feb. 08 – Two policemen were injured in a shootout between suspected militants of the AST and security forces in the Ariana governorate. [TL]

  14. Feb. 16 – A prison guard and a civilian were shot to death by terrorists who intercepted their car at a roadblock in Ouled Manaa, in the Jendouba governorate.   19. Mar. 17 – Militants opened fire at paramilitary policemen who intercepted their car in the governorate of Sidi Bouzid, injuring two officers and setting off a brief gun battle. [TAP & TL]
