Salim Bouhouch is a Tunisian jihadi who headed the Abu Mariam Brigade [KAM; Katibat Abu Mariam].1 In that capacity, he reportedly hatched plans to attack a paramilitary police post and kill security personnel by slitting their throats.2 The Tunisian authorities cracked down on his outfit in February 2015 and arrested up about twenty of his followers.3 Bouhouch himself was apprehended by police in the town of Hammamet on Apr. 12, 2015.4 He was released two days later due to the lack of concrete evidence.5
