- Jul. 05 – Two local government officials were seriously injured when gunmen shot them as they were traveling home on a motorcycle after having visited a mosque in the Rangae district of the Narathiwat province. [BP]

- Jul. 14 – A roadside bomb exploded as a paramilitary vehicle passed by in the Rangae district of the Narathiwat province, killing one soldier and injuring six colleagues. [BP & Nat]
