  1. Sep. 01 – A gunman shot and killed a deputy village chief at a grocery shop in the Raman district of the Yala province. [BP & Nat]
  2. Sep. 06 – A public bus was struck in a roadside bomb explosion in the Betong district of the Yala province. No one was hurt in the blast. [BP]
  3. Sep. 11 – Gunmen sprayed gunfire at a local government office in Pattani‘s Yarang district. Nobody was hurt in the shooting. [Nat]
  4. Sep. 11 – Militants abducted a driver as they hijacked a vehicle used to transport school children in the Thepha district of the Songkhla province. The driver was found beaten to death the next day. [BP]
  5. Sep. 11 – Terrorists sprayed gunfire at a local government office in Pattani‘s Khokpho district, killing a clerk. Two bombs exploded as emergency crews arrived at the scene, killing two local government officials and an onlooker.   9. Sep. 19 – A defense volunteer was wounded when a roadside bomb exploded as he rode by on his motorcycle in Yala‘s Muang district. [BP]
  10. Sep. 19 – A deputy village chief was shot to death by motorcycle-borne terrorists as he was exiting a mosque in the Yaring district of the Pattani province. [BP]
  11. Sep. 24 – Militants shot and killed a local government employee as she was riding her motorcycle in the Saiburi district of the Pattani province. [BP]
  12. Sep. 24 – Gunmen shot and seriously wounded a civilian outside his house in the Rueso district of the Narathiwat province. [BP]
  13. Sep. 30 – A village chief was killed and his assistant was injured when militants raked their pickup truck with gunfire in the Muang district of the Pattani province. [BP]
