  1. Sep. 01 – Gunmen fired at two activists participating in protests by rubber farmers in the Chauat district of the Nakhon Si Thammarat province, killing one of them and injuring the other. [MCOT]
  2. Sep. 02 – A roadside bomb exploded as paramilitary troops passed by in the Chanae district of the Narathiwat province, seriously wounding a soldier. [BP]
  3. Sep. 08 – Militants shot and killed a civilian in front of his home in the Rueso district of the Narathiwat province. [BP]
  4. Sep. 09 – A physician was shot and injured by gunmen as he was riding home on his motorcycle in the Raman district of the Yala province. [BP & Nat]

  9. Sep. 16 – Gunmen shot and injured a former local council member as he was riding home from work on a motorcycle in the Kapho district of the Pattani province. [BP]
  10. Sep. 16 – Motorcycle-borne gunmen shot and killed a defense volunteer in front of a school in the Rueso district of the Narathiwat province. [BP]
  11. Sep. 17 – A teacher was wounded when gunmen shot him as he was riding home on his motorcycle in Pattani‘s Nongchik district. [BP & Nat]
  12. Sep. 18 – Gunmen shot and killed a construction contractor as he was dropping off workers in the Rangae district of the Narathiwat province. Two of the workers were hurt in the shooting. [BP]
  13. Sep. 18 – A civilian and his wife were killed when gunmen shot them as they were riding home from work on a motorcycle in the Nongchik district of the Pattani province. [BP]

  17. Sep. 27 – Militants shot and killed a defense volunteer as he was traveling home on a motorcycle in the Kapho district of the Pattani province. [BP]
  18. Sep. 27 – A civilian was wounded when gunmen shot her as she was riding a motorcycle in Narathiwat‘s Rangae district. [BP]
  19. Sep. 27 – Terrorists detonated a roadside bomb as an army patrol passed by in Narathiwat‘s Rueso district. Members of a bomb disposal team later came under fire from militants while they were investigating the scene, injuring three soldiers. A civilian was killed and another one was wounded after their car got raked in the crossfire. Four policemen were also killed and seven colleagues were injured when their vehicle crashed after it ran over spikes planted on the road by the militants as they rushing to the scene.
