  1. Jul. 01 – Militants set off a small bomb near a school in the Bacho district of the Narathiwat province. No one was hurt in the blast. [BP]
  2. Jul. 02 – Two defense volunteers were wounded when a roadside bomb exploded as they were riding by on a motorcycle in the Johirong district of the Narathiwat province. [BP & MCOT]
  3. Jul. 03 – A local government official was killed and another one was wounded when their car was raked with gunfire by militants in Yala‘s Raman district. [BP]
  4. Jul. 03 – A bomb exploded in front of a shop in the Bannang Sata district of the Yala province. The blast occurred as policemen were evacuating the scene after a civilian had discovered the device, injuring an officer. [BP]

  7. Jul. 07 – A defense volunteer was shot to death by terrorists at a rubber plantation in the Khokpho district of the Pattani province. [BP, MCOT & Nat]
  8. Jul. 08 – A roadside bomb exploded as a Thai military truck passed by in Pattani‘s Mayo district, injuring eight troops. [BP, MCOT & Nat]
  9. Jul. 11 – Eight soldiers were wounded when an army truck was hit in a roadside bomb explosion in the Raman district of the Yala province. [BP, MCOT & Nat]
  10. Jul. 12 – Gunmen shot and wounded a civilian as he was riding a motorcycle in the Rueso district of the Narathiwat province. [BP]
  11. Jul. 16 – A rubber tapper was shot to death by militants as he was riding to work on a motorcycle in the Bannang Sata district of the Yala province. [BP & MCOT]
  12. Jul. 17 – A roadside bomb exploded as a patrol of defense volunteers passed by in Yala‘s Bannang Sata district. One of the volunteers was hurt in the blast. [BP, MCOT & Nat]
  13. Jul. 17 – Militants set off a roadside bomb as a Thai armored military vehicle passed by in the Johirong district of the Narathiwat province. Two soldiers were seriously wounded in the attack. [BP, MCOT & Nat]
  14. Jul. 18 – Unidentified attackers fired shots at a mosque in the Khokpho district of the Pattani province. No one was hurt in the incident. [Nat]
  15. Jul. 19 – A retired soldier was shot dead by terrorists as he was riding a motorcycle in the Rueso district of the Narathiwat province. The victim’s wife was wounded in the shooting. [BP]

  17. Jul. 21 – A couple was shot to death by gunmen as they were traveling home from work on a motorcycle in the Rangae district of the Narathiwat province. The man was a former paramilitary soldier. [BP & MCOT]
  18. Jul. 21 – Gunmen fired at a paramilitary soldier as he was riding on a motorcycle in Pattani‘s Saiburi district, injuring him and his girlfriend. [BP]
  19. Jul. 23 – Terrorists fired at a Buddhist family as they were riding a motorcycle in the Takbai district of the Narathiwat province, killing the father and mother. Their son was wounded in the attack. [BP & MCOT]
  20. Jul. 23 – Malay militants shot and wounded a village chief at his rubber plantation in the Yarang district of the Pattani province. [BP & MCOT]
  21. Jul. 24 – Two teachers were killed and a colleague was injured when their vehicle was struck in a roadside bomb explosion in the Chanae district of the Narathiwat province. Two policemen who were escorting the teachers were also wounded in the attack. [BP, MCOT & Nat]
  22. Jul. 25 – Assailants shot and wounded two civilians in the Sisakhon district of the Narathiwat province. [BP]
  23. Jul. 26 – Gunmen shot and killed an Islamic religious teacher outside his home in the Betong district of the Yala province. [BP & Nat]
  24. Jul. 31 – Militants shot and wounded a defense volunteer as he was walking to his rubber plantation in the Bannang Sata district of the Yala province. [BP]
  25. Jul. 31 – A soldier was seriously wounded in a roadside bomb explosion that targeted an army patrol in the Yaha district of the Yala province. The victim succumbed to his injuries shortly afterwards. [BP & MCOT]
  26. Jul. 31 – A defense volunteer was injured in a bomb blast triggered by terrorists at a school in Yala‘s Bannang Sata district. [BP & MCOT]
  27. Jul. 31 – A roadside bomb exploded as two policemen drove by on a motorcycle in the Muang district of the Yala province, injuring both officers. [BP & Nat]
  28. Jul. 31 – Two soldiers were injured in a bomb blast as they were providing security to teachers in the Muang district of the Pattani province. [MCOT & Nat]
  29. Jul. 31 – Three soldiers were injured when militants ambushed paramilitary troops passing by in Yala‘s Bannang Sata district. [BP]
