The Alexei Mozgovoi Brigade [TAM; Taxiarchía Alexéi Moznkovói] was a Greek anarchist outfit named after a Russian-backed rebel leader from eastern Ukraine. The group firebombed and destroyed three vehicles parked outside the Ukrainian embassy in Athens on Jan. 20, 2018.¹ Almost a month later, the TAM asserted responsibility for the action in a statement posted on the internet.² The group claimed to have carried out the attack to protest purported American and European interference in Ukraine which it blamed for the downfall of the Yanukovich regime in 2013.
