The Gang for the Diffusion of Flames [SDF; Symmoría Diáchysis tis Flógas] was an anarchist militant outfit that attacked an office of the tax services with an incendiary bomb in the Holargos suburb of Athens on Apr. 28, 2021, inflicting considerable damage.1 The SDF claimed responsibility for the incident in a statement posted on a left-wing extremist website several days later.2 The outfit reported to have carried out the attack in retaliation for the Apr. 23, 2021 conviction of terrorists who belonged to the Revolutionary Self-Defense Organization [OEAA; Orgánosi Epanastatikís Aftoámynas].
