The Revolutionary Overthrow Cell [RO; Epanastatikí Anatropí] was a Greek anarchist militant group that was briefly active in Athens. The outfit was behind the Mar. 27, 2013 bomb explosion outside the home of shipping magnate Nikos Tsákos on the Akropolis.1 A member of the group had warned of the attack in a telephone call to a newspaper and police managed to evacuate the area in time.2 A few weeks later, the RO asserted responsibility for the incident in a message left on a monument for a World War II resistance hero in the Kesariani suburb.3 The group’s modus operandi was strikingly similar to the tactics used by the December 6 Revolutionary Organization [EOED; Epanastatikís Orgánosis Éxi Dekémvri] and the Sect of Revolutionaries [StE; Séchta ton Epanastatón].4
