The Detonators of Social Excitement [PKE; Pyrokrotités Koinonikón Exegérseon] was a small and short-lived anarchist militant outfit active in northern Greece. Its members destroyed several parked vehicles in an arson attack on the parking lot of a local government office in the town of Kavala on Jul. 03, 2013.1 Three days later, the PKE claimed responsibility for the incident in a statement posted on the internet.2 In the message, the group expressed solidarity with an imprisoned anarchist on hunger strike in a Greek prison.
