The Team of Revolutionary Confrontation [OEA; Omáda Epanastatikís Antepíthesis] was a small anarchist militant group that was behind a campaign against members of a council of senior advisors to the Greek labor ministry in 2016 and 2017.¹ The group reportedly started its campaign by sending a threatening letter with bullets to the law firm of one of the advisors in December 2016.² The OEA embarked on a campaign of attacks at the beginning of the next year. On Jan. 02, 2017, a small incendiary bomb exploded outside the home of the head of the Greek actuarial authority in the Patisia suburb of Athens.³ Two days later, devices went off at the offices of a magazine publisher who served on the board and a judicial thinktank chaired by another member of the council.⁴ A few days after the bombings, the OEA published a statement on an anarchist website in which it asserted responsibility for the attacks.⁵
