The MTA’s Giannis Tamtákos Core [MTA-PGT; MTA – Pyrínas Giánnis Tamtákos] was a communist militant cell that operated under the name of the Class Solidarity Front [MTA; Métopo Taxikís Allilengýis]. Its members were behind the arson attack on the car of a labor department official outside his office in Thessaloniki on Jun. 04, 2021.¹ The MTA-PGT claimed responsibility for the action in a statement posted on an anarchist website the following day.² The outfit denounced the “blackmailing and intimidation” of Greek labor unions. It vowed no further postponements for warfare between the classes.
