The February 12 Movement [K12F; Kínima 12 Flevári] was a Greek left-wing extremist outfit whose name referred to the Feb. 12, 2012 rioting and in Athens.1 A group member disguised as a priest and three accomplices planted an incendiary bomb aboard a metro train at the Egaleo subway station in the Greek capital city on Feb. 25.2 The device failed to go off. The K12F claimed responsibility for the incident in a statement that briefly appeared on an anarchist website on Apr. 01, 2012.3 Details in the communiqué were confirmed by witnesses.4 Investigators suspected that operatives of the K12F were also involved in a joint operation by the Promotors of Social Explosions [YKE; Ypokinités Koinonikón Ekríxeon] and Wild Freedom [AgE; Agria Elefthería] in which a bomb was set off at an Athens shopping mall in January 2013.5 The devices used in both incidents showed strong similarities.
