The People of Action [AtP; Anthropoi tis Praxis] was a short-lived Greek anarchist outfit. It was behind the Mar. 09, 2013 explosion of an incendiary bomb consisting of two gas canisters next to the automatic teller machine of a bank in central Thessaloniki.1 The AtP asserted responsibility for the incident in a statement posted on a left-wing extremist website several days later.2 The assailants claimed to have carried out the attack to encourage the Greek people to fight against their “oppressors”. They also expressed solidarity with imprisoned anarchist militants and activists who were protesting against a mining project on the Chalkidiki Peninsula.
