The Anarchist Gangs of Metropolitan Unrest [ASMT; Anarchikés Symmoríes Mitropolitikís Tarachís] was a short-lived Athens-based anarchist militant outfit. It was behind the Sep. 14, 2019 incident in which approximately forty assailants hurled about twenty homemade incendiary bombs at a police station in the Athenian suburb of Zografou, inflicting only damage.1 Officers managed to apprehend two of the assailants during the attack.2 Both men were released shortly afterwards.3

The ASMT published a statement on an anarchist website on Sep. 20, 2019 in which it asserted responsibility for the incident.4 In the message, the outfit called for more attacks on police infrastructure and personnel.5
