The AAO’s Mauricio Morales Command [AAO-KMM; AAO – Kománto Mauricio Morales] was a militant cell that operated under the name of the Greek wing of the Informal Anarchist Federation [AAO; Átypi Anarchikí Omospondía] and at the apparent behest of the Conspiracy of the Cells of Fire [SPF; Synomosía ton Pyrínon tis Fotiás]. It was named after a Chilean anarchist who died when the bomb he was carrying exploded prematurely in 2009.

The AAO-KMM was responsible for the parcel bomb that went off at an Athenian post sorting facility on Jul. 03, 2013.1 The device had been sent to former anti-terrorism police unit commander Dimitris Chorianopoulos. The outfit claimed to be behind the incident in a statement posted on a left-wing extremist website on Jul. 11.2 It reported to have targeted the former police chief for overseeing investigations that led to the arrest of SPF members in September 2009 and threatened further attacks against anybody who acts against anarchist militants.3 On Jul. 11, 2013, police apprehended Thessaloniki-based anarchist squat leader Spýros Mandýlas and associate Andreas Tsavdarídis for their role in the AAO-KMM.4 A draft version of the claim of responsibility was discovered during the searches of their places of residence.
