The AAO’s Clement Duval Iconoclastic Core [AAO-EPCD; AAO – Eikonoklastikós Pyrínas Clement Duval] was an Athens-based militant outfit that operated as a franchise of the Greek Informal Anarchist Federation [AAO; Átypi Anarchikí Omospondía]. It first appeared on Jan. 08, 2015 when operatives burnt a vehicle of a security company at a workshop in the Argyroupoli suburb.1 In the following weeks, operatives of the group burnt vehicles of a fire safety company, a tourist firm and a chain of duty-free shops as well as an office of a tourism company in separate actions across Athens. The outfit claimed responsibility for the incidents in a statement posted on an anarchist website in early February 2015.2 The AAO-EPCD also admitted having vandalized dozens of CCTV cameras across the Greek capital city.3 In the communiqué, the group expressed solidarity with Angeliki Spyropoulou, an associate of the Conspiracy of the Cells of Fire [SPF; Synomosía ton Pyrínas tis Fotías].4
