The AAO’s International Conspiracy of Revenge [AAO-DSE; AAO – Diethnís Synomosía Ekdíkisis] was a short-lived militant outfit that operated under the name of the Greek branch of the Informal Anarchist Federation [AAO; Átypi Anarchikí Omospondía]. It acted in support of the so-called “Phoenix Plan” in which anarchists loyal to the Conspiracy of the Cells of Fire [SPF; Synomosía ton Pyrínon tis Fotiás] carried out a series of attacks against people involved in the arrest and subsequent incarceration of SPF militants.1
On Jun. 12, 2013, the AAO-DSE destroyed the car of a prison guard in a bomb attack in the town of Nafplio.2 It asserted responsibility for the action in a statement posted on a left-wing extremist website eight days later.3 In its message, the outfit accused the guard of “mistreating” imprisoned SPF members.4
The device used by the AAO-DSE’s was strikingly similar to that used by the AAO’s Unscathed Revenge Core [AAO-APE; AAO – Alóvitos Pyrínas Ekdíkisis] in the Mar. 10, 2013 bomb attack on a courier company in Athens.5
