The AAO’s Unscathed Revenge Core [AAO-APE; AAO – Alóvitos Pyrínas Ekdíkisis] was a short-lived militant cell that presented itself as a franchise of the Greek wing of the International Anarchist Federation [AAO; Átypi Anarchikí Omospondía]. It was behind the bomb attack on the premises of a courier company in the Pagrati neighborhood of Athens on Mar. 10, 2013 that caused significant damage to the building.1 The AAO-APE asserted responsibility for the bombing in a statement posted on an anarchist website several days later.2 It reported having targeted the firm because the wife of the owner had discovered a parcel bomb sent by the Conspiracy of the Cells of Fire [SPF; Synomosía ton Pyrínon tis Fotiás] to the Mexican embassy in November 2010.3 The attackers disparaged the woman’s “petite-bourgeois and police-like” curiosity that led her to open the package and getting injured in the subsequent explosion. They were still angry that her intervention led to the arrest of SPF militants and threatened attacks against anyone acting against anarchist terrorists.

The AAO-APE might have been made up of the same people that later formed the AAO’s International Conspiracy of Revenge [AAO-DSE; AAO – Diethnís Synomosía Ekdíkisis] which was responsible for bombing the car of a prison guard in Nafplio in June 2013.4 These militants also operated in support of the SPF.
