The Nocturnals Cell [Nocturnes] was a group of anarchist militants that claimed responsibility for the September 2017 arson attack on a hangar of the local police forensics service in Grenoble, destroying approximately fifty parked vehicles and causing major damage to the building.¹ The group expressed support for anarchists on trial for their role in the May 2016 attack on a police vehicle in Paris.² The cell was never heard from again following the incident.
