The White Moon, Black Mob Module [LBMN; Lune Blanche, Meute Noir] was a short-lived anarcho-ecologist militant outfit operating in the department of the Ain.¹ It had at least half a dozen members.² On Sep. 28, 2018, they set fire to a slaughterhouse in Hotonnes. The facility was almost completely destroyed in the incident.³ A few days later, the LBMN claimed responsibility for the attack in a message posted on an anarchist website.⁴ In October 2018, the director of the slaughterhouse received a letter with threats.⁵ The outfit has since not been heard from.
