Aug. 21, 2016 – Gunmen opened fire at a police checkpoint in Madinat as-Sadat, in the Menoufiya governorate, killing two officers and a security informer. Two other policemen and two civilians were wounded in the attack.

The LeT released a statement in which it claimed responsibility for the following attack:
Apr. 01, 2017 – A bomb planted on a motorcycle exploded outside a policetraining facility in the city of Tanta, in the Gharbiya governorate. Two policemen were killed and twelve colleagues were injured in the blast.
