Through DaIISh’s Amaq Media, the DaIWS asserted responsibility for the following incident:
Aug. 25 – A group of militants attacked a police checkpoint west of Arish, in the North Sinai governorate, killing four officers and injuring ten colleagues. Four of the assailants were eliminated in the ensuing gun battle.

Dec. 18, 2018 Amaq statement
Amaq Media distributed a message on social media in which it informed on that the DaIWS was behind this incident:
Dec. 16 – Two soldiers were killed and three colleagues were wounded when their vehicles were struck by roadside bomb blasts west of Rafah, in the North Sinai governorate.

In a communiqué issued by the DaIISh, it affirmed the responsibility of the DaIWS for the Dec. 16, 2018 attack.
