  1. Jul. 01 – A young man was shot and killed by unidentified militants on a street in the Safa neighborhood of Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. [Wat]
  2. Jul. 03 – Terrorists shot and injured a young man at his house in the city of Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. The victim’s brother was abducted by the attackers. [SHR]
  3. Jul. 04 – A roadside bomb exploded as a police armored vehicle passed by in southern Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. Two officers were killed and ten were injured in the incident. [Ahr, Baw & DNE]
  4. Jul. 04 – Gunmen shot and killed a traffic policeman as he walking home from work in the Atef al-Sadat suburb of Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. [Wat]
  5. Jul. 05 – A civilian was snatched from his car by militants in the city of Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. [SHR]
  6. Jul. 05 – Three soldiers were killed when terrorists opened fire at a toll booth on a highway in Ayat, in the Giza governorate. [Ahr, Baw & DNE]
  7. Jul. 06 – A television news cameraman was abducted by gunmen from his home in the city center of Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. [SHR & Wat]
  8. Jul. 07 – Two suicide terrorists detonated their car bombs at a military checkpoint in the village of Burth, in the North Sinai governorate. Dozens of gunmen subsequently stormed the facility, sparking a round of heavy firefights. The attack killed 23 soldiers and injured dozens of others.   9. Jul. 07 – Motorcycle-borne gunmen shot and killed a police officer as he was walking to a mosque in the city of Khanka, in the Qalyubiya governorate. [Ahr, Bal, Baw, DNE & EI]
  10. Jul. 08 – Terrorists shot and killed a policeman as he arrived home from work in the city of Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. [Wat]
  11. Jul. 08 – Two policemen were killed and nine colleagues were wounded when their vehicle was struck in a roadside bomb explosion in Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. [Ahr, Bal, Baw, DNE, EI & MS]
  12. Jul. 09 – Militants abducted two civilians on two separate occasions in the Safa neighborhood of Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. One of the captives was released later that day. [SHR]
  13. Jul. 11 – A roadside bomb exploded as a police armored vehicle passed by in the city of Arish, in the North Sinai governorate, injuring an officer. Two passers-by were hurt in the incident. [Baw, DNE & MY]

  16. Jul. 14 – Gunmen shot and killed a civilian outside his home in the village of Wefaq, in the North Sinai governorate. [Wat]
  17. Jul. 14 – An Islamist attacker stabbed female tourists at two resort hotels in the town of Hurghada, in the Bahr el-Ahmar governorate, killing two German citizens. A Czech woman was critically injured in the incident and later died of her wounds. Two Armenian women and an Ukrainian tourist were wounded in the attack.   18. Jul. 15 – Suspected HaH militants opened fire at security forces who raided a house in the Galbana area of the Ismailiya governorate. Four gunmen were eliminated in the ensuing firefight. [Ahr, Bal, Baw, EI & Sho]
  19. Jul. 15 – A Christian security guard was hurt when an Islamist thug attacked him with a blade outside a church in the city of Iskandariya. [AP, EI & MS]
  20. Jul. 16 – A roadside bomb exploded as a police armored vehicle passed by in Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. Two policemen were hurt in the attack. [Sho & Wat]
  21. Jul. 16 – Three soldiers sustained injuries when a military armored vehicle was struck in a roadside bomb blast near Rafah, in the North Sinai governorate. [Sho]
  22. Jul. 16 – A policeman was shot to death by terrorists near his home in the city center of Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. [Sho & Wat]
  23. Jul. 16 – A bomb exploded outside a house south of Rafah, in the North Sinai governorate. Two civilians sustained injuries in the blast. [Sho & Wat]
  24. Jul. 17 – Militants bombed and shot up a police armored vehicle in the city of Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. The attackers later set off a roadside bomb as other police units arrived at the scene. Five policemen were killed and five colleagues were wounded in the attack. [Ahr, AP, Bal, Baw, DNE & Reut]
  25. Jul. 17 – Six police officers were injured when their vehicle was hit in a roadside bomb explosion on the southern outskirts of Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. [AP, DNE & EI]
  26. Jul. 18 – Terrorists shot and killed a civilian whom they had abducted a few days earlier in the Shabana area of the North Sinai governorate. [SHR]
  27. Jul. 18 – Cadres of the HaH opened fire at policemen who approached their car in Qahira‘s Gadida suburb. The two gunmen were killed in retaliatory gunfire. [AFP]
  28. Jul. 19 – A policeman was killed in a firefight between a group of gunmen and security forces south of Rafah, in the North Sinai governorate. [Wat]
  29. Jul. 19 – One police officer was killed and two colleagues were injured in a roadside bomb explosion in the city of Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. [Baw, MS & Wat]
  30. Jul. 20 – Gunmen opened fire at a police convoy in the Fayoum governorate, killing one officer and injuring three colleagues. The HaH asserted responsibility for the attack. [AP, Bal, Baw, DNE, EI & MS]
  31. Jul. 22 – A civilian sustained injuries when gunmen shot him on a street in southern Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. [Wat]
  32. Jul. 22 – Assailants fired a rocket-propelled grenade at a house in the town of Rafah, in the North Sinai governorate, injuring three children. [SHR]
  33. Jul. 22 – A police officer was shot and injured by a sniper on the southern outskirts of Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. [Wat]
  34. Jul. 23 – Militants fired at police forces who raided a training camp of the HaH in the Fayoum governorate. Eight of the terrorists were eliminated in the ensuing gun battle. [Ahr]
  35. Jul. 24 – Terrorists shot and killed a civilian near his home in the city of Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. [Sho & Wat]
  36. Jul. 24 – Seven civilians were killed when four suicide terrorists detonated their explosives-laden car after soldiers had used an armored vehicle to stop him from attacking a security checkpoint in the city of Arish, in the North Sinai governorate.   37. Jul. 26 – Two civilians were shot and injured by gunmen south of Rafah, in the North Sinai governorate. [Sho & Wat]
  38. Jul. 26 – Militants opened fire at police forces who raided their hideout in Sadis min-Oktubar, in the Giza governorate, sparking a shootout in which the four terrorists were killed. [Ahr]
  39. Jul. 31 – A bus carrying workers of a water utility company came under fire from militants near the village of Shalaq, in the North Sinai governorate. One passenger was hurt in the incident. [Sho]
