3. Feb. 03 – A roadside bomb exploded as a military armored vehicle passed by south of Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. No further details were provided. [MS]
4. Feb. 04 – A building used by a university was destroyed in a bomb explosion in the city of Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. DaIWS militants were responsible for the attack. [DNE]
5. Feb. 06 – A sniper shot and injured a soldier manning a security checkpoint south of Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. [MS]
6. Feb. 06 – A woman was wounded when militants shot her in the town of Rafah, in the North Sinai governorate. No further information was available. [Bal]
