  19. Nov. 24 – A suicide terrorist detonated his explosives-laden car at a security checkpoint on the outskirts of Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. A large band of gunmen subsequently stormed the position. Twelve soldiers were killed and thirteen colleagues were wounded in the attack. The DaIWS asserted responsibility for the incident. Nov. 25 – A mob of approximately 2,000 Islamist thugs hurled firebombs at a building housing a Coptic nursery and prayer hall, assaulted Christians and vandalized property belonging to members of the minority community in the village of Naghmeish, in the Sohag governorate.
