Militant Incidents in Egypt (September 2016)

1. Sep. 01 – Two policemen were killed and five colleagues were wounded when a roadside bomb exploded next to their vehicle in the city of Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. The attack was attributed to the DaIWS. [DNE]
2. Sep. 01 – A civilian was abducted and later shot to death by terrorists in the south of the North Sinai governorate. No further information was available. [Bal]
