1. May 04 – A roadside bomb exploded as a fuel tanker truck passed by in Sheikh Zuwaid, in the North Sinai governorate. A soldier was killed in the blast. [Baw]
2. May 04 – A small bomb exploded at a security checkpoint in the town of Abu Kabir, in the Sharqiya governorate. No one was hurt in the blast. [Bal & Baw]
3. May 06 – Gunmen opened fire at an ambulance in the city of Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. Nobody was injured in the attack. [Bal]
4. May 07 – Four civilians were shot and wounded by unidentified assailants in the town of Rafah, in the North Sinai governorate. [Bal]

31. May 25 – More than 300 Muslim thugs set fire to seven houses belonging to Christian families in the village of Karma, in the Minya governorate. The mother of a Christian man involved in an affair with a Muslim woman was stripped and paraded through the streets by the assailants.
