1. Jun. 01 – Terrorists fired a rocket-propelled grenade at a minaret in Sheikh Zuwaid, in the North Sinai governorate, destroying the structure. [EI]
2. Jun. 01 – The homes of the three Coptic Christian families were set on fire by a group of thugs in the village of Kafr Darwish, in the Beni Suef governorate. The attackers were angry over false accusations that a Christian had blasphemed Islam. [EI]
3. Jun. 02 – An electricity pylon was bombed and destroyed by unidentified attackers near Obkher, in the Sharqiya governorate. [MY]
4. Jun. 02 – A bomb went off outside the headquarters of the provincial security department in Damahur, in the Beheira governorate, causing only damage. [Baw]
5. Jun. 02 – Unidentified assailants bombed and damaged an electricity pole in the town of Kafr el-Zayat, in the Gharbiya governorate. [Baw]
6. Jun. 02 – Militants ambushed a bus carrying workers of a cement factory in the North Sinai governorate, killing one of the occupants and injuring three others. [AM, Baw & EI]
7. Jun. 03 – A hospital and a school were damaged in a roadside bomb explosion in Sheikh Zuwaid, in the North Sinai governorate. An army convoy that was due to pass by was the target of the attack. [Baw]

28. Jun. 10 – A suicide bomber blew himself up after their vehicle was stopped by policemen at the parking lot an ancient temple complex in the city of Uqsur. The militant’s two companions subsequently opened fire at the officers, sparking a shootout in which one of the attackers were eliminated. Two policemen and two civilians were hurt in the incident.
