99. Jan. 29 – A bomb exploded at a bus terminal in Bur Said, injuring two civilians. A bus was damaged in another bomb blast elsewhere in the city. [DNE & EI]
100. Jan. 29 – Terrorists fired a barrage of rockets at a military base, the local police headquarters and several security checkpoints in the city of Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. A suicide terrorist detonated an explosives-laden car at the gate of the army base immediately afterwards. The attack killed 25 soldiers and wounded at least 58 others people, including 49 troops. 111. Jan. 31 – Thugs linked to the Muslim Brotherhood hurled firebombs at the police station in the Monib neighborhood of Giza. [AM]
