4. Sep. 03 – A retired member of parliament was wounded when militants raked his car with gunfire in the city of Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. [DNE]
5. Sep. 04 – Two soldiers were wounded when gunmen attacked the offices of the local security department in Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. [DNE]

12. Sep. 05 – An Egyptian soldier was shot to death by unidentified terrorists in the city of Ismailiya. No further information was available. [AFP]
13. Sep. 06 – Supporters of ousted president Morsi were attacked by thugs while protesting outside a mosque in the city of Iskandariya. Some of the assailants used firearms and swords during the incident, killing one demonstrator and seriously injuring another one. The attacks set off brawls between extremists of the two sides. 14. Sep. 06 – Several followers of ousted president Morsi were hurt when thugs assaulted people attending a protest rally in the city of Mansoura, in the Dakahliya governorate. [Ahr]

Sep. 11 – Two suicide terrorists detonated their explosives-laden cars at a military intelligence compound and at an army checkpoint in the town of Rafah, in the North Sinai governorate. Six soldiers were killed and seventeen others people, including ten troops, were wounded in the attacks.
