3. Aug. 02 – A policeman was killed and a colleague was wounded when terrorists fired rocket-propelled grenades at a hotel in Arish, in the North Sinai governorate. [Ahr]

32. Aug. 14 – Two churches were set ablaze by thugs linked to the Muslim Brotherhood in the village of Nazla, in the Fayoum governorate. [DNE]
33. Aug. 14 – A group of gunmen attacked a police station in Helwan, in the Qahira governorate, killing three officers and three civilians. At least two other policemen were hurt in the incident. [DNE]
34. Aug. 14 – Thugs set fire to a building housing offices of the finance ministry in the Nassr City suburb of Qahira. Proponents of former president Morsi were responsible for the incident. [Ahr]
35. Aug. 14 – Militants fired rocket-propelled grenades, sprayed gunfire and hurled firebombs at the police station in the Kerdasa suburb of Giza as it was being besieged by a mob of hundreds of Muslim Brotherhood supporters. Fifteen policemen were killed and another one was wounded by the mob after the officers were forced out of the compound following the attack. The victims were badly beaten and killed by being shot, stabbed, dragged behind cars, having their throats cut or having acid poured over them.
