Mar. 08 – Six Copts were killed when Salafi militants armed with firearms and knives attacked Christians demonstrating against recent violence in the Moqattam suburb of Qahira. Four houses and two factories owned by Copts were set on fire by the attackers. Several of the assailants were killed as Christians defended themselves and in confrontations with security forces.
