  1. Feb. 22 – A bomb exploded on a street lined with restaurants catering to tourists in the Khan el-Khalili neighborhood of Qahira, killing a French citizen. At least 21 other people, including thirteen French nationals, three Saudis and one German, were wounded in the attack. [AP & BBC]
