  1. Feb. 22 – A bomb exploded on a street lined with restaurants catering to tourists in the Khan el-Khalili neighborhood of Qahira, killing a French citizen. At least 21 other people, including thirteen French nationals, three Saudis and one German, were wounded in the attack. [AP & BBC]
  2. Feb. 27 – An American tourist and a local policeman were injured in a knife attack by an unidentified assailants in the Khan el-Khalili neighborhood of Qahira. [Reut]
  3. Feb. 28 – An attacker threw a firebomb at a subway station packed with commuters in northern Qahira. No one was injured in the attack. [Reut]
  4. Mar. 06 – A young Copt was burned alive and his father was stabbed to death by Islamic thugs angry over his romantic relationship with a Muslim girl in the town of Damas, in the Dakahliya governorate. The victim’s brother was stabbed and injured during the incident. [ICC]

  10. Sep. 16 – An elderly Copt was stabbed to death by an Islamist on a street in the village of Behmay, in the Menoufiya governorate. [ICC]

Oct. 18 – Islamist thugs shot and killed a Copt whose son was involved in a romantic relationship with a Muslim girl as he was walking on a street in the village of Attalin, in the Asiyut governorate. The assailants subsequently beheaded their victim’s dead body. Two bystanders were hurt in the attack.
