Tariq Ibrahim (°ca 1992) is an Egyptian Islamist and member of the Muslim Brotherhood.1 Following the 2013 army coup against Islamist president Morsi, he took part in the massive protests by Brotherhood supporters.2 Ibrahim later joined the Monitoring and Deterrence Cell [KRR; Khalia al-Rusud wal-Rada] and became one of its most senior operatives. He made bombs and helped organize operations for the outfit.3 Ibrahim personally participated in several attacks.4 He was apprehended when the Egyptian authorities rolled up the KRR in February 2014.5 In May 2016, Ibrahim was sentenced to life in prison.6
