Mohammed Sayyid is an Egyptian jihadi who acted as the financier for Adel Habara’s Partisans and Holy Warriors [AwM; Ansar wal-Mujahideen] during the early 2010s.1 He raised funds through an unregistered Islamic charitable organization in Bilbais. Under the guise of helping poor Muslims, Sayyid collected money from unknowing locals which he then transferred to Habara.2 The Egyptian authorities apprehended him during the crackdown on the AwM in late 2013. On Dec. 06, 2014, Sayyid was sentenced to life imprisonment for his role in the AwM.3 His sentence was confirmed on appeal in 2015.4
