Malik al-Najjar was a senior operative of the Reinforcements of Egypt [AM; Ajnad Misr] and served as a deputy to its leader Hammam Attiya.1 Following Attiya’s death in April 2015, he apparently scaled down his involvement with the AM.2 Najjar and an associate were killed when Egyptian security forces raided his home in Giza’s Faisal neighborhood on Jul. 26, 2015.3
