Khalid al-Manei (°ca 1979) was a Sinai-based Bedouin jihadi and senior operative of the Partisans of the Holy House [ABaM; Ansar Bait al-Maqdis].1 He was deeply involved in the illicit weapons trade between the Gaza Strip and the Sinai.2 In that capacity, Manei developed relationships with elements of the Islamic Resistance Movement [HAMAS; Harakat al-Muqawama al-Islamiya].3 He has also been linked to several attacks against the Egyptian army and police on the peninsula.4 On Jul. 23, 2014, Manei was eliminated in an air strike on his vehicle as he was transporting rockets near the village of Muqata, in the North Sinai governorate.5 Manei was the brother of senior ABaM leader Shadi al-Manei.6
