Ahmed el-Khadrawi is an Islamist militant from Cairo who served as a senior operative of the Ramez and Bahr Module [RBM]. The cell was behind a July 2017 attack on the police in Giza and several abandoned or thwarted plots against the Israeli embassy, the Coptic community, a judge and the police.1 Khadrawi’s precise role in the RBM was never revealed.
Security forces arrested Khadrawi during a raid on the RBM’s hideout in Cairo on Dec. 24, 2017.2 A court sentenced him to life in prison in November 2019.3
