Ala’addin Ibrahim is an Egyptian militant and senior member of the so-called Ramez and Bahr Module [RBM], an ideologically heterogenous Islamist outfit active in the Greater Cairo region between 2016 and 2017. The cell was behind the Jul. 26, 2017 attack on a police station in Giza and several abandoned or thwarted plots.1 Ibrahim’s exact role within the RBM was unclear.

Ibrahim was apprehended when security forces raided the RBM’s main hideout on Dec. 24, 2017.2 He was later sentenced to life imprisonment by a Cairene court in November 2019.3
