Omar Abu Sheisha (°ca 1986) is a former lieutenant in the Egyptian army who turned to jihad in the mid-2010s when he joined the Abu Anas Module [AAM] set up by his associate Mohammed Ibrahim.1 They planned to attack security forces in Mansoura and set up a small Islamic state in the city.2 Abu Sheisha and his companions procured weapons and trained recruits in preparation for the operations.3 He was arrested on Apr. 06, 2014 when the Egyptian authorities rolled up the AAM in a series of swoops.4
