  1. Feb. 6, 2004 (08h40) – Moscow: 41 fatalities
    A suicide terrorist blew himself up aboard a train as it was traveling between the Avtozavodskaya and Paveletskaya metro stations. The blast killed 41 civilians and injuring about 120 others. The incident was attributed to the Karachay Community [KJ; Karachay Jamaat].
  2. Mar. 29, 2010 (08h00) – Moscow: 40 fatalities
    Two female suicide terrorists blew themselves up aboard trains as they stopped at the Lubyanka and Park Kultury metro stations. At least forty people were killed and 102 others were wounded in the blasts. The Caucasus Emirate [IK; Imarat Kavkaz] asserted responsibility for the bombings.
  3. Jul. 07, 2005 (08h50) – London: 39 fatalities
    Three suicide bombers blew themselves up almost simultaneously aboard three subway trains. Two of the explosions occurred as trains were traveling between stations, while they other took place in the Edgware Road station. The blasts killed 39 people and wounded about 100 others.
  4. Dec. 30, 2000 (midday) – Manila: 19 fatalities
    A bomb planted in a train exploded as it entered the Blumentritt light railway station. Nineteen people were killed and approximately 100 others were wounded in the blast. The Islamic Congregation [JI; Jemaah Islamiah] was responsible for the attack.
  5. Mar. 22, 2016 (09h10) – Brussels: 17 fatalities
    A suicide bomber blew himself up inside a train as it was leaving the Maalbeek metro station. Seventeen travelers were killed and at least 106 others were injured in the incident. The attack was carried out by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant [DaIISh; Dawlat al-Islamiya fi-Iraq wal ash-Sham].
  6. Apr. 11, 2011 (17h55) – Minsk: 15 fatalities
    A bomb exploded on a platform next to an incoming train at the main Kastryĉnickaja metro station, killing fifteen commuters and injuring at least 204 others. Foreigners were among the wounded.
  7. Mar. 19, 1994 (13h00) – Baku: 14 fatalities
    Fourteen people were killed and 49 others were wounded when a time bomb carried by a suicide terrorist exploded aboard a train as it halted at the 20 Yanvar metro station. The attackers belonged to the Lezgin National Movement [Sadval].
  8. Apr. 03, 2017 (14h40) – Saint-Petersburg: 14 fatalities
    Fourteen commuters were killed and at least 45 others were injured when a Kirgiz suicide bomber detonated an explosives-rigged suitcase aboard a subway train near the Sennaya Ploshchad station. The dead included an Azeri national and a Kazakh citizen. The ISB claimed responsibility for the bombing.
  9. Mar. 20, 1995 (07h00) – Tokyo: 13 fatalities
    Attackers released sarin gas from bags aboard five trains traveling on three different metro lines during morning rush hour. Thirteen people were killed and approximately 5,000 others were wounded in the incident. Members of the Supreme Truth Sect [AS; Aum Shinrikyo] were responsible for the attack.
  10. Aug. 08, 2000 (17h55) – Moscow: 13 fatalities
    A bomb planted in a bag exploded near a kiosk at the Pushkinskaya metro station, killing thirteen civilians and injuring at least 118 others.
  11. Jul. 03, 1994 (08h30) – Baku: 13 fatalities
    A bomb exploded aboard a train as it was pulling in the Ganjlik subway station. Thirteen people were killed and 42 others were wounded in the incident. The incident was blamed on members of the Lezgin National Movement [Sadval].
  12. Aug. 31, 2004 (20h15) – Moscow: 10 fatalities
    Ten people were killed and 51 others were wounded when a female suicide terrorist blew herself up at the Rizhskaya subway station. The attack was carried out by the Karachay Community [KJ; Karachay Jamaat].
  13. Jul. 25, 1995 (17h30) – Paris: 8 fatalities
    Eight commuters were killed and 117 were wounded when a bomb exploded at the Saint-Michel light rail station. The attack was carried out by Algeria’s Armed Islamic Group [GIA; Groupe Islamique Armé].
  14. Jan. 08, 1977 (17h30) – Moscow: 7 fatalities
    A bomb exploded aboard a subway train as it was traveling between the Izmaylovskaya and Pervomayskaya metro stations. Seven commuters were killed and 33 others were seriously injured in the blast. The attack was carried out by Armenian nationalists.

    Four people were killed and at least 91 others were wounded when a bomb planted on the tracks exploded at the Port-Royal subway station. The attack was carried out by the Armed Islamic Group [GIA; Groupe Islamique Armé].
  16. Jun. 11, 1996 (21h15) – Moscow: 4 fatalities
    A bomb exploded aboard a metro train as it was traveling between the Tulskaya and Nagatinskaya subway stations, killing four passengers and injuring sixteen others.
