  18. Jun. 13 – A police officer and his wife who also worked for the police were stabbed to death in their home by a terrorist in the town of Magnanville, in the Yvelines department.   19. Jun. 14 – A local student was stabbed and injured by an Islamist extremist with psychological problems as she was waiting for the bus in the city of Rennes, in the Ille-et-Vilaine department. [Fig]

  40. Jul. 27 – Two terrorists burst into a church in the village of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, in the Seine-Maritime department. The priest was killed by having his throat slit. An elderly worshipper was stabbed and injured by the attackers. The two assailants were shot dead by police as they tried to leave the church. The DaIISh claimed responsibility for the attack.   44. Aug. 13 – Muslim extremists assaulted locals following a dispute over Islamic bathing gear on a beach in Sisco, in the Haute-Corse department. Two Czech nationals were injured in the incident.
