Overview of incidents

  1. Apr. 02 – Bombs exploded in rapid succession outside a car dealership, a used motorcycles store and a liquor shop in central Pattani. At least five electricity poles were also bombed by the assailants in the city’s suburbs. No casualties were reported in the blasts. [BP & Nat]
  2. Apr. 02 – Gunmen shot and killed two men as they were riding home from a hunting session on their motorcycles in Narathiwat‘s Rangae district. [BP]
  3. Apr. 04 – A bomb exploded outside a local government office in the Chanae district of the Narathiwat province, causing only damage. [BP]
  4. Apr. 04 – A roadside bomb went off as a paramilitary vehicle passed by in the Johirong district of the Narathiwat province. Nobody was hurt in the attack. [BP]

  12. Apr. 19 – A civilian was shot to death by gunmen as he was riding his motorcycle in the Rueso district of the Narathiwat province. [BP]
  13. Apr. 21 – A bomb exploded on the side of a road in Yala‘s Raman district. Two terrorists who had just planted the device was killed in the blast. [BP & Nat]
  14. Apr. 24 – A group of militants opened fire at a paramilitary base in Pattani‘s Kapho district, setting off a firefight. Nobody was hurt in the incident. [BP]
  15. Apr. 24 – Terrorists shot and killed two female rubber tappers from Chiang Mai as they were riding a motorcycle in the Yala province. [Nat]
